As my suspected time on this mysterious continent winds down, I hope to gather a few thoughts and images in this piece. Frankly, I just don't know where else to store the photos, so they might as well be here.
This image from a museum in Tanzania catches the sad history of this place.
And these photos of downtown Nairobi show that life has moved on.
Yet life out in the bush is still grim.
Yet wrapped around that life of kill or be killed is a vast beauty.
That is diverse as it is large.
But even inside that beauty danger sits and waits for you.
Thus, Africa asks you at times to sit and think.
But these camels clearly have no concept about anything.
And after all you have seen you still have dreams to follow.
Just find a door and walk through it.
